LONDON Pit- Via joes[a]fiend

After graduating from the Central Saint Martin Design School in 2001,
UK street wear designer Vinti Andrews ventured on her own, only to later work with notable brands to date that include Evisu, Sneaker Pimps, NYC, Adidas,
and Sotheby’s to name a few. With her recent success, and the highly publicized Windrunner project with Nike, the artists momentum has steadily increased once again, with another collaboration with Nike ID.

This time around Andrews skill was put to the test, by creating a pair of life size patch work pit bulls. The first dog features a variety of different Dunk color ways (currently on display at Nike ID Studio in London), while the other is comprised of colorful Air Max 90s including the Carnival, CMYK, and the King of the Mountain models (available for sale at Loveless in Tokyo, Aoyama). This has got our vote. We say, if this isn’t one of the most creative pieces of art through carefully crafted deconstruction, we don’t know what is. What are yout thoughts?
