DMC was initially founded by Tony Prince in 1981 as a “Disco Mix Club Show on Radio Luxembourg in the UK, and later operated as a DJ remix service. Five years later they would soon host what is now known today as the DMC World DJ Chamionships. You’ll know that this annual DJ competition has produced some of the most influential turntablists and producers to date that include Mixmaster Mike, Q-Bert, and A-Trak.
