A special update for those who wok up late. The World’s Best B-Boys Compete Head-to-Head on November 18th starting at 7pm at Hammerstein Ballroom for the upcoming 5th annual Red Bull BC One Battle. The space will be transformed into the ultimate battleground for a one-night-only competition, featuring sixteen dancers who will compete head-to-head to determine who will be the ONE crowned as the 2009 champion.

Each Red Bull BC One competitor is hand-picked by an international team of experts. Being chosen to compete in this competition is not only based on dance skills but also reputation, character and influence in the dance community. Innovative dancers who have earned the coveted Red Bull BC One title include last year’s champion, Wing from South Korea; and 2007 winner Ronnie from the USA who is also a member of Super Cr3w. Korean B-Boy Hong 10’s gravity defying moves earned him the 2006 crown. In 2005, the original and confident style of French B-Boy Lilou wowed the crowd and judges awarding him the championship title.
