After three months of planning we finally dropped the Street HeART exhibition held this past Thursday at the newly opened Sauce gallery in Huntington. We teamed up in conjunction with the Guardian Brain Foundation, a non-profit organization which provides financial support and counseling services to adults, children and their families dealing with brain trauma and cancer diagnosis. Twenty-two artists and 40 pieces of art spanning from New York to the Netherlands are currently being featured and are for sale, with 100% of the proceeds going to the non-profit foundation. Artists include: Darrin Umboh, Zeptonn, Lennard Schuurmans, Staynice (Shop Around), Brooklyn based artist Mike Perry, legendary writers ROS, Poem and many more currently on display. The crowd was live with drinks flowing courtesy of Blue Point, Berentzen, Red Bull and artistic bites provided by Chef Steven Scalesse, owner of The Eatery @ Tullulah’s. For those of you who were unable to attend, take a look at some snaps below courtesy of Exercise Compassion and video provided by Sparrow Media.
