Get your sunscreen ready- it’s time to begin a full season of festival going. The infamous Juicy Beach party out of Miami during WMC is on the road for the first time ever with Juicy New York, turning Governors Island into a dance music oasis on Saturday, July 14. Careful attention is being made to select a lineup that reflects Juicy’s strict programming policy while also giving a nod to New York City’s rich house music history. Juicy New York promises to offer a truly compelling lineup that can’t be found anywhere else during the summer in an unforgettable setting.
Since 2005, Robbie Rivera and his wife and business partner, Monica, have been the driving forces behind the world-renown Juicy Beach party at WMC in Miami each March, which attracts thousands of clubbers and A-list DJs around the world — including Kaskade, Deadmau5, Benny Benassi, Axwell, Sander van Doorn and others — and has gone on to Ibiza and beyond. In addition to the live element of the brand, Juicy encompasses Robbie’s highly syndicated radio show, “The Juicy Show,” featuring today’s top guest DJs such as Laidback Luke, Dero, 3LAU, Roger Sanchez and Alex Gaudino.
While the Juicy New York lineup won’t be revealed until closer to the event, one thing that’s certain is that Robbie’s set will be packed with his own classics, many culled from his new album ‘Dance Or Die.’ The album features some of the most well-respected, chart-topping vocalists in dance music today such as Blake Lewis, Lizzie Curious, Sue Cho, and Wynter Gordon.
The 18+ event will take place from 4 p.m. to midnight at Governor’s Beach Club, which encompasses a 4-story tent with open walls, an open air beach, VIP areas, a state of the art sound and light system, over 100 feet of bar space, and spectacular views of New York City. Tickets are a mere $30 for a limited time only. You can purchase them via MadeEvent.
