A simply stunning commission piece created by pioneer street artists MAC and Retna in Los Angeles. MAC painted the girl based on a photo taken, and Retna added his touches with halo and his signature text designs in the background. Entitled Collige, Virgo Rosas, the title piece comes from the old Latin text phrase in the halo: “Collige, virgo, rosas dum flos novas et nova pubes et memor esto aevumsic properare tuum”,

A little something we wanted to share with you all. Our family over at Dedicated in Cologne have been keeping positive and busy. This past October 9th they got together for a little backyard session along with legendary part PART ONE TDS (NYC) & SAIR4 (Cologne). Wish we were there, but always support in ALL ways. Peep the video for the astute observation.
This art installation closed this past September, but it doesn’t mean that we still can’t blast our praise about it to our readers. German street artist El Bocho otherwise known under his Little Lucy pseudonym teamed up this past summer with the Arty Farty Gallery in the city of Cologne (one of our favorites) for his latest show entitled “More Human Than Human”.
Odyssey Two is the upcoming exhibition by NYC legendary artist Futura2000, held at the newly opened 95 Gallery located in the Mitte District of Berlin. The opening reception will take place on September 24th and have a short 3 day stint until September 27th.
Montana has teamed up with Upper Playground to produce a limited edition set of four spray cans. Soon to release, the cans feature designs created by RETNA and The Mac, Sam Flores, Mr. Cartoon, and MQ. Collectors and aerosol lovers alike be on the look out for these to drop worldwide within the next few weeks. Take a look at the their collaborative effort.
It seemed like only yesterday that our man BabakOne (Dedicated/Graffiti Mag) was in NY with us to do so much needed catch up and to celebrate their 11th issue release. Well the always informative crew over at GM are back once again to drop some more street art gems with their 12th issue of Graffiti Magazine. Featured content will include Trains, Walls, Tags, T-ups from all over the Rhein/Ruhr District.
Our man Semor will be paying it forward with an event this coming June 27th. We have teamed up with him along with our other familia Dedicated in helping to spread the universal word of street unity, with a one day jam that will be held at the local youth culture center in the district of Altenkirchen, Germany.
